About Me:: I hate writting these things. I consider myself to be a straight forward person who works at honesty and integrity within relationships. I study the energy that is created between individuals and groups and strive to identify the elements that can keep our personal energy running clean with the people we interact with, and care for, in this life. I have been on the Pagan Path for 22 years and have studied several traditions within Wicca, Traditional Witchcraft, Shamanism, and just heathenism in general. =). What I consider myself, today, is a Ghetto Shaman: Living on the hedge between civilization and the Wild, working with the tools I have available to me, and merging the two worlds to find my personal balance. An earth-friendly yurt, in the middle of nowhere, with an envirolet composting potty and wireless internet. There is more to it than that, but you get the gist.

I love Community, and what can be accomplished when you have a strong foundation of individuals willing to work for the greater good of all. I believe in personal responsibility & accountibility, and compassion & kindness. I also believe in consequences and tough love, or straight forward reality (delivered with tact), when necessary.

I believe in the importance of Ethics as I think it is a core part of the foundation for a Balanced way of life. I believe it should be a life goal for human beings to want to learn to take the High Road and better ourselves as aware spiritual creatures. I do realize that everyone has their own Path, and I do respect that... but only if you are respectful, in turn.

I am a free spirited gal, who loves to laugh, camp, watch scary movies, go to festivals (my Most Favorite Being Pagan Spirit Gathering hosted by Circle Sanctuary and held in Salem, MO), go to Fire Circles (a new passion), and lots of other stuff & junk. I am interested in talking with folks who might be willing to discuss and explore the Ethics issue as it relates to our selves, and our Community as a whole. I am also currently studying (separately) Alchemy, hunting themes, and pack behaviors, so if you have some juicy information.... Please Share!

Bring On Midsummer and PAGAN SPIRIT GATHERING~!

Here in Chicago we have actually had a bit of a break in the hard winter weather to the point where all the snow has melted. You can see the grass, feel the changing Winds on your face,and some crazy mother even let her kid run out of the house in nothing but shorts and a t-shirt. Welcome Tristan Sage~ A Tale of Pagan Birthing

We started out in Madison, where I had been staying all week checking out the area in anticipation of our move this coming summer. Obama Wins.... Phew!

Holy Moly....What an emotional day! I spent it glued to the TV watching all of the election coverage...something completely out of character for me. For some reason (bricks falling) this election has hit me like no other.

I was hydrated but my electrolytes were imbalanced and they almost helicoptered me out. Thank the goddess that didn't happen...expenses I don't need!!! I'm still recovering, hope that PSG was good for you. I don't know if I'll be able to return if the weather is like that every year, doctors say my chance for relapse in the next few years is high.
