About Me:

Hi everyone, I'm an eclectic shamanic practitioner, and have been following this Path for 13 years now. I follow a mix of Celtic, Aboriginal, Norse, and Toltec shamanism, with Native American spirituality intertwined. I have also been studying Satanism, as I continuously look for answers. I am owned by 2 dogs, 2 cats, 2 rats, a rabbit, 8 parakeets, 1 cockatiel, a Patagonian Conure, a Quaker Parrot, a horse, 3 PBPigs, and 12 goats, 9 Holstein calves, and 6 turkeys! LOL.

I enjoy nature and the outdoors, and love playing and dabbling with my houseplants. I have probably entirely to many, and I have yet to split and divide up my pots for the spring. Be afraid, very afraid!

Not really interested in a serious relationship, as I'm a mostly solitary person. But please feel free to write as I always enjoy chatting

Favorite Books: Anything. There's too many authors to list. I love reading. Sci-Fi, fantasy, animals, science, religion, westerns, history, gardening, crafts and hobbies, romance... I keep a copy of my library on GoodReads, so you can hit me up there.

I know, it's been a while since I've been on. And my updating sucks! Believe me, when I look at my profile picture and realize those turkey babies are about 10lbs now, and certainly aren't sitting on my shoulder, I know I'm behind!! Sorry for those who read. It's been a crummy couple of weeks. Starting to get depressed with lack of jobs around, and just tired of that grind.

Critter Updates

Well, we ended up losing about 20 chicks all total, so about 60 chicks made it. I'm currently expanding the back fencing on the chicken pen to make sure there's tons of room. The babies are growing like weeds, and are funny to watch.

Ended up with 2 baby turkeys as well. Not named, till I know male or female. They'll be between 30-45 lbs grown. They're your basic turkey dinner style ones that are out at Thanksgiving and Christmas. My profile has their pic.

Baby Chicks...

Well, the babies arrived. They've been watered and are scampering around like crazy. We ordered 40, got an extra one (a mystery chick), but 2 died in transit. :-( The others are doing really well though. And cute little buggers. They were born on Feb 6.

However, there was an interesting screwup in the order. We received 2 boxes. The shipping addy was to us, but on one box the Phone addy was to a fellow in Louisiana. We we opened the box, the billing addy was to the same gent. Hoo boy.

Ennis, TX area - And Ramblings

Hi ya'll,

Been a while since I've been on, so tossing out a quick note.

If anyone is close by, Farm fresh/Organic eggs for sale. $2.00 a doz. Large brown eggs. Drop me a line, and I'll get ya directions or phone # or both.

Have 40 baby chicks coming in on Monday. :-) Black and White Jersey Giants, Barred Rocks, Buff Orpington, some more Auracanas so there will be green eggs in 5 months, and Cuckoo Marans, which lay chocolate brown eggs.

Monday 1/12/09

Hi Everyone,

Thank you for the birthday comments. I really appreciated them. :-) On the plus side, this year mom remembered my birthday on Sat, instead of halfway through the day Sun. On the downside, she had me drive her out town to get a cake. LOL! I got a few little things, and had a good tho quiet day on Sunday.

Saturday night a local friend had a Full Moon Gathering and meditation get-together. Had a good time, got to play in and on the bonfire and met new friends.
