The thing is, either way it still has an influence on those that believe. Take fanatical Christians as an example. A persons beliefs color their reality. Think they would act that way if they did n...

Both are good books. (IMO) I have Pillars of Tubal Cain, and have yet to get Fallen Angels. I always thought the "All god are one God" philosophy originated in Theosophy with H.P. Blavatsky, Alice...

Yeah, and that is quite interesting, because I have heard Christians say that Hell is the absence of God. But if God is omnipresent, then where could he be absent? Hhhmmmmm?!! A mystery, no?

That is the first I have heard the story related that way. In the version of the story that I am familiar with, as written by Charles Leland, it is Diana who tricks Lucifer in the form of his cat.

About Me:
I cast my first spell when I was nine, and after convincing myself it was for real, I have been a student and practictioner of the Arte Magical, the Cunning Craft. In practice and belief structure I lean toward Sabbatic Sorcery and the Crooked Path. Though generally, I refer to myself as a Luciferian sorcerer.

I live in Saint Joseph, MO. with my girlfriend (KAT), whom I am engaged to, and her daughter. We have 3 snakes; my Dumerill Ground Boa, a Red-Tailed Boa, and a Ball Python. We have 5 cats; Noctifer, Alah, Salem, Johnny, and Nitnoi. We have 1 dog; Lucy, an American Staffordshire. I'll try to get pictures put up of our zoo. ~,o

I am the founder of Ordo Templi Luciferi
A member of Luciferian Order
A member of Temple of the Vampire
Former member of The Order of Phosphorus

Favorite Books
This is not ALL of them, but many have been listed. Others I could not find on Shelfari.

Beliefs / Practices
Occultist, Witch, Satanist, Other Spirituality
Other Beliefs/Practices
I generally refer to myself as a Luciferian Sorcerer or Skirhand* Witch, but tend to lean a bit towards Traditional Witchcraft, in the Robin/Man in Black tradition. I also have an interest in Heathenism, Zos Kia, Cultus Sabbati, Thelema, Hoodoo, Obeah, and the Toadsmen and the Toad Rite, the Horseman's Word, the Grimoire Tradition, Qabalah (especially the Qliphoth). Lately, I have become interested in wort-cunning, especially the darker witch herbs (i.e. Nightshade, Henbane, Hemlock, Wormwood, ect).

I am the founder of Ordo Templi Luciferi, a Luciferian Order that works with Luciferian Gnosticism and "Old School Wytchcraft", in the tradition of the Horned God as Initiator and Illuminator.

I was a member of The Order of Phosphorus, a Luciferian organization that practices Adversarial Witchcraft, founded by Michael W. Ford, until I elected to leave.

*Skirhand is Old English for Left-hand, or Sinister as the left-hand was associated with the devil and those things sinister.
Heroes
Not sure if you would call them heroes, but a few people I admire would be:
Grigori Rasputin, Dr. John Dee, Aleister Crowley, Auston Osman Spare, Kenneth Grant, Paul Huson, Andrew D. Chumbley, Daniel Schulke. This list is incomplete, but I would say they have had a greater or less degree of influence upon me through their writings or legacy. I admire power and intellect.
Likes
Intellectual discussions with people who know what they are talking about and can back it up, Solitude, Moonlight, My pets: Duke; my Dumeril Ground Boa, Lucy; my American Staffordshire Pitbull, Noctifer; my black tom cat. Most of all my Ol'Lady and her daughter for being able to put up with me.

It is also nice when I get a chance to get together with some of the old coven members. (I disbanded the coven due to scheduling conflicts, it was just to hard to get everybody together.) Yes, I led a coven at one time. It has its ups and downs, but think I prefer working as a solitary.
Dislikes
Fundie Christians, 'Fluffy' New-Age White-Lighters, Femmi-Nazis, Goddess Nazis, sure I'll think of more in time.

Oh yeah, Fundamentalist Satanist.
How did you find PaganSpace?
Googled it.

WE ARE THE WITCHCRAFT

"We are the Witchcraft, and although one may not know another; yet we are united by an indisoluble bond. And when the high wild cry of the eagle sounds in your mind, know that you are not alone in your desire for freedom. And when the howl of the wolf echos in the forrest of your night, know that there are also others that prowl. And when the ways of your fellows about you seem the ways of idiocy and maddnes, know that there are also others who have seen and judged - and acted.

. . .

Our way is not for all men. There are those who are so constricted and sick in themselves that the thought of their own freedom is a horror, and that of others a fierce pain; so that they would enslave all men. And these you should shun, or, if you must, destroy them as you will know how, for this is bounty. Nor think the life power should manifest in those who have no trouble or turmoil, for these may be mere dumb cattle, innocents out of season. Rather does the power often show the most where conflict rages, since at any time, and especially in false civilization, the way must be won through. Surrender is disaster. The other side of the coin is a song in the sunlight and a dance in the moonlight, where all mist are dispersed. But the way must be won.

- - Jack Parson, "The Witchcraft"
