About Me:: I am 46 years old and am blessed to have 2 wonderful children and a supportive husband.
I am new to the craft (have only been seriously studying since January 2008) but feel connected to it as if I was born to it. At this point, though, I cannot determine which tradition I will follow. I am swaying to a more eclectic and my heart is definitely following the old path.
I currently have an instructor/mentor who is helping me to learn as much as I can. She has her work cut out for her though. I have a tendency to ask a lot of questions!

Favorite Books: Celestine Prophecy

Beliefs / Practices: Pagan, Witch, Wiccan

Hobbies: Cooking, gardening, all artistic endeavours (if it exists, I probably have tried it - or want to)

Heroes: My grandmother...She was a devout Catholic but now I see that she was also my secret kitchen witch as I grew up. She healed with her food, comforted with her words, loved the Earth and treated it well, found humor in all situations and lived peacefully among all people. She had an incredible light!

Likes: honesty, passion, and acceptance in others

Dislikes: Chosen ignorance and intolerance

The Cardinal

I now have 3 cardinals that have made it very apparent to me that they have chosen me (tapping on my windows to get in...flying into my enclosed porch and not wanting to leave). I never would have considered a cardinal as my totem...but the evidence is undeniable.

Calling out to Central Floridians

Hi! I am a solitairy located in the center of Florida and am looking to connect with others following this Path. I am not interested in starting or joining a coven as much as I am interested in just connecting with other locals. My teacher is in North Carolina which makes it difficult enough. It would be so wonderful to meet sisters and brothers that are near me.

I have a dream too....

Over the years, I have marched for unity on MLK day, joined the Gay Pride parades, with pride, and took every opportunity I could to show my support for individuality and tolerance of the differences we all have. I feel that diversity is a vital part of our world; both in society and in nature.

Unfortunately, I only see a small portion of the population being as accepting of Witchcraft, Wicca and Paganism in general. Wouldn't it be wonderful if all people could be at least tolerant, if
