About Me:: I've been with my husband, (Optimus on this site) for six years. Have two teenagers, so my house is always full of noise and drama. I am a solitairy witch for many years, and fought a long battle with my husband for acceptance on this path. Over the last year I have felt the urge to become more open and develop relationships with other pagans. My patron Goddess is The Morrigan, my patron God is Lugh. My animal totem is the crow, and I have a Pom/Terrier mix named Foxy Brown and the best Tabby name Joey.

Here are a few sayings that I think will help you realize the type of person that I am. I dont like these because of some false sense of being a bad ass, but I think they hold some truth to them.

It is better to be a sinner, than it is to be a false saint.

Those who live by the sword, die by the sword.

It is better to be hated for who you are than to be loved for who your not.
I have gone back to college after many years and I'm working on my BA degree. I plan on entering the journalism field. I study the way of the warrior in many cultures, and that is the major reason that I want to be a journalist. The pen is mightier than the sword. I have started writing again with the intention of someday becoming a published author.

Favorite Books: Pretty much anything that I am reading at the time. I love George R.R. Martin.

Beliefs / Practices: Pagan, Witch, Wiccan, Satanist, Mystic, Shaman, Other Spirituality

Other Beliefs/Practices: My father is Buddhist and I find his influence in my life very strong. I have started learning about Satanism due to SIN's influence, and I am not happy to admit this but I did have some negative stereotypes about Satanism before meeting her, glad to say that I have at least the common sense to realize when I might be wrong about something and open myself to learning something.

Hobbies: gardening, sewing, painting, writing

Heroes: wonder woman, tinkerbell, Malevificent. I am well aware that these three women are fictional, they are still awesome.

My husband because he has overcome a lot within his life and has accomplished his goals despite those close to him doubting him and even setting him up for failure at times. And he has had the courage to love even after all the hate he has experienced.

My grandma (really my great grandma) because she was who she was and she never apologzied to those who thought she wasnt good enough. I still refer to the knowledge that she gave me even after all these years.

Likes: Love music, reading, anything that motivates me to be a better person. I like techy stuff.

Dislikes: I cannot understand and will not tolerate people who refuse to better themselves or change a negative situation because they will not accept any responsibilities for their own life and yet expect and even demand that others solve their problems or continually enable them to continue the same destructive behaviors regardless of the negative effects will it have on the people that they supposedly care about.

Been gone for a long time.

Well, I wont be able to do a whole lot today on the site, but I just wanted to say that I really missed this place and all of my friends. It's been a wild adventure and more than what I had expected.

Invitations, friends and a job?

Since moving here I have been looking for a job, thankfully, some nice prospects are coming in, but if I go with any one of these options it will be a challenge. I know I am up for the challenge and look forward to it, I have spent too many years in positions that offered no challenge and no room for advancement either.
